I have overhauled my suspension cans and fitted them back on the car.Is there any better way of setting up the cans than described in the Haynes mannual? By this I mean adjusting the tubes that the big nuts are on. |

dave, the instructions given in Haynes for setting up the position of the rear end stop are fine, except that they might have added a reminder that the car should be unladen and with only 5 litres of fuel in the tank. Btw, did you cut the cans open? ken dave 411 wrote: I have overhauled my suspension cans and fitted them back on the car.Is there any better way of setting up the cans than described in the Haynes mannual? Is it short tie rod, or does the rod seem shorter as there's more of it in the can because the spring's longer? |
