Yep thats a problem with the light holder on a 2cv. In fairness james, LEDs are more suited to sidelights. I have some led bulbs that may fit. |

I find that LED lights on modern cars(especially BMWs,Audis,Mercs)are far too bright, it can be quite uncomfortable being sat behind one of those on a dark road, conventional bulbs are far better and safer imo. PS:-It's the same with these expensive gay cars that run xenon headlamps, they just cause discomfort for other road uses, so are dangerous. |

PS:-It's the same with these expensive gay cars that run xenon headlamps, they just cause discomfort for other road uses, so are dangerous. That's a different issue though; those have a large number of LEDs in one light unit. The after market bulbs that directly replace a conventional bulb struggle to match an incandescent bulb, never mind exceed, their light output. It is simply because you can't cram enough LEDs onto the conventional light bulb base. |
