Can anyone name and recommend an aerial and where i can buy one for my 2cv? I want the telescopic type that runs up the side of the windscreen

Bought my last one from Halfords. It's described as a side mount aerial I think.

I usually use those ones that stick on the inside of the windscreen. The plus side of these is that you don't have to drill any holes. The downside is that they're not as powerful as external aerials.

Of course the real answer is you shouldn't have one at all. Driving a 2cv requires paying attention to all the noises that are going on. A radio or sound system has no place in a 2CV.

I have a radio in mine, but at 50 or 60 mph you can't really hear it over the characteristic 2CV noises. :D

A 2CV in full chat is music enough. I just love the sound of that air-cooled twin and the whine of the 'box

Gets a bit monotonous though.

^gotta agree with that tbh^. I'd much rather be deafened by music than a tiny engine doing 5000 rpm, especially on long journies sur l'autoroute.
