Having read the post on 2cvgb about chassis's,and all the fuss it caused,it got me to thinking,"is one chassis better than another one",and if so,why?
The chassis is a rather important part of our little cars,so if we are to find out as much info on them before buying one,how do we do that without mentioning where they come from?
I understand the problem with naming names etc. so how could this be done without causing world war 3? (by the way,I don't need a new chassis yet,but one day!!!!!)

You can't get a better recommendation than that from another supplier. If you look at chassis on the website of the largest UK parts supplier there is mention of another maker. ;)

can open...

...worms everywhere

If it were me, ask people about the chassis they own and if they like it/feels good/have had issues.

For me, budget was the deciding factor.

Or you could be of the view that any new chassis is better than the bag of rust that is under most 2CV's. Often the only thing holding the car together is the bodywork.
