Putting the finishing touches to the race car, and have noticed that the seat belts have got black mold all over them, anyone know what the best way would be to clean it? |

I've put harnesses in the washing machine before, but I'd think a scrub and a soak in a bucket of water and washing liquid would do the trick. |

tried the washing up liquid, along with swarfega, mold remover bicarbonate of soda - worried about putting them in the washing machine what about the buckle part! just read somewhere about valeters use brake cleaner |

Put it in with a full washload, then it won't rattle about so much. |

Wipe them clean with Rodalon. That will prevent the mould from reappearing. |

Thanks Shans - at this time the seat belts are going around in the washing machine so will have a look when they are done - then go along the cillit bang route And Russ I told Caroline its your idea to put them in the washing machine
