Does the oil feed to the rockers only reach one valve? I can find only one hole-under the valve spring retainer on the inlet valve. Is there another hole that supplies the exhaust side? Reason for this question- There does not appear to be adequate oil reaching the rockers one one cylinder. |

socarco, the oil feed pipes deliver oil into galleries around the exhaust valve guides, which helps keep the exhaust valves cool. Have a good look at the outside of the cylinder heads, where there's an M7 threaded hole to which a banjo bolt connects the oil feed pipes. I've never yet found an engine on which oil couldn't pass through the feed pipes, or onwards through those tapped drillings into the rocker covers... ![]() ken. socarco wrote: Does the oil feed to the rockers only reach one valve? Yup! after a few minutes test run there is no oil visible on rockers. |

socarco, have you tried spinning the engine over with the plugs out and the rocker covers removed? As soon as there's _any_ oil pressure in the system, oil should be observed to be leaking from under the exhaust valve springs. ken |

any muck is likley to stick in the drillings of the bajo bolts if it were mine id take the bolts out and have a good poke about with a bit of mig wire sean ah and check that the pipe has not been bent and flattened as the bolts were tightened up and also make sure the pipes have not been dammaged by being knocked. |
