Where's the best place to get a big jubilee clip to fasten my air-filter-to-carb pipe? I fixed my old one with a nylon cable tie, causing the pipe to perish just a bit too quickly.
Uncle Roy doesn't appear to have them.

Use two and link them together or use the type of clip youmake up yourself.

Or find one of the original Citroen clamps

Take it into your friendly local motor factor. They'll have a choice all the way up to "Twice round the moon & back"

Cool!
Thanks for your help, both.

Smiffy,
in my experience, using a Jubilee clip to clamp the intake hose tightly onto the carb is an even quicker way of ensuring its demise... :(

I prefer to leave the intake hose free at the carb end and clamp it 'lightly' onto the filter box with a tie wrap or Jubilee clip.

i had the same problem, the aair filter wouldnt stay on, for more than 2 seconds, i did away with the old clip (well its still on the filter for good measure) but i used 2 cable ties, no too tight but not too loose, now, you can pop the air filter off the top of the carb, but it will hapilly stay there on its own accord
