Post subject:  Headlining...a question for those with a metal roof!!

Hello there

before it gets too chilly and i have condensation raining on me....i want to re-attach the headlining on my Ami 6. The original foam has long since blown away into the wind and all that is left is the plasticy perforated 'sheet' - it's not torn, so wnat to re-use it....

question is - what should i use to 'back' the perforated sheet (foam? material?) and what adhesives should i use...any advice etc. etc.

Thanks
Will

I used the underlining you use for a laminate floor. Thin enough to do a job, and thin enough to stay put.

Used a strong spray mount adhesive. It will be easier in an ami though as its a flat surface. The van was a nightmare!
