...hello hello like others i'm sure, now and again i need to use a little 'mastic' on the car. this time to seal up a leak.... there are so, so many 'tubes' out there, i get confused. Am I righ tin thinking some mastics have to be avoided at all costs, due to acidic vapours when they cure??? etc. etc. Can anyone tell me the general rule with mastics???? The job in question is to seal between rubber and bodywork to stop leaks, so must be waterproof and flexible and stick to rubber / metal..... Thanks Will |

Tiger seal or Sikaflex are both ideal for automotive applications. |

The mastic I'm thinking of comes in tubes very similar to bathroom sealer. Often used for window seals, badges etc. |

I've paid a snidge over £3/litre for Fuchs full-synth, delivered, the last couple of times from Opie Oils. |
