hi all the wheels on the ami are a pale grey,is this the correct colour for a 76 ami ? im going to get a few cans of aerosol tomorrow so does anyone have the correct code or a common colour/code of something later thats likely to be in stock when i get down to halfords i can get some mixed at a local wholesale paint supplier i buy from but its probably cheaper to buy some off the shelf thanks matt |

The wheels are Gris Rose, although I can't recall the code. AC136? I hope that's not right or that's well geeky of me... |

I used Ford dove grey as it's pretty close, but after buying five or six spray cans from Halfords at five quid each I decided to look on ebay instead. I found a supplier that sold a RAL colour (Pebble grey) in one litre cans for eleven quid. If you have spray equipment it's much cheaper to do it that way, plus you can put on more paint that a rattle can will. One litre makes two litres when thinned out, it'll last for ever. |

good tip ebay ta ive a HVPL set up and i was tempted to buy a litre down the paint shop i use but i knew i couldnt do them all in one go and to keep cleaning out all the gun and stuff would have been a drag your right the cans dont go far im on my 3rd can and 3rd wheel tonight but i guess £5 per wheel isnt too bad the same paint suppliers would do a mix can with the correct code but although they get more coverage than the halfords ones they are £14 for the same size |
