Post subject: | Fly Wheels |
I was doing some clearing out of the garage and found 3 thick flywheels. Question 1. How many does one man need? Question 2. Why do they have different number of holes on one side? Is it something to do with correcting the balance perhaps? |

You don't need any unless you have a car that its going to fit. But don't throw them away because they will come in handy one day. ![]() Holes are indeed for balancing. |

Plug the central holes and they'll make wonderful soup bowls. Will keep yer Minestrone hot for days... |

Norman, scrap's about £125/tonne at the moment... ![]() ken ( Don't ask me, there's a stack of flywheels here which is about a metre high.) |
