Post Window Clips
My lovely other half has managed to snap the passenger side window clip right off (snapping the wire bit in two), with no possibility of salvaging the peg inside and leaving the window stuck open. Wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the torrential downpour and a nasty wall next to the driveway and the pitch black etc. making reversing without a head out the window to see where going an imposibility. Well this has ended with me being very wet, the inside of my car being very wet and my boyfriend being in the bad books. Also wouldn't have minded if I hadn't just replaced that clip about a fortnight ago and this was the first time he had opened it since he broke it last time!! The whole catch on the drivers side is getting very loose so I was thinking of replacing that anyway, looks like I need to get the pair now!!

Is something going wrong here? Or shall I just permanently ban my other half from my poor Donna?

This is the black plastic clip that fixes to the top of the door?

There's two manufacturers of them. One is good quality but expensive and, apparently, the manufacturer is a pain in the arse to deal with. The other is cheap but barely fits. We broken one on the way to the French national - at which every single supplier was selling the cheap crap. In the UK, of the two main suppliers... Well, you can guess who's supplying what, can't you?
