Bloody ell thats a bit "random",,, wikipedia a website for cumulative ignorance:roll: wtf has music wire got to do with car springs,, and lock pick info?? surley the biggest user of spring steel world wide Viking depends on what its for torsion bar springs as used in old vws and referred to in the other thread was composite and from many leaves and rolled into a bar coils are simply wound from 19mm "piano wire"(eg 2cv) then given the correct tension by heating and tempering |
