Exactly as the title suggests, I'd like to clean the roof on Seth-it's covered in lichen and allsorts. Any suggestions from you wise folks out there? |

Hahahahaha. I've just been on there and read that they recommend "Nikwax". This is a real pain because Rachael's been telling me that's the stuff to use and I was really hoping to prove her wrong!

To be fair it was about 10 years ago. I did reseal it with Nikwax (gold?), I think... |

Thanks Louise. Rachael's going to buy me some Nikwax tomorrow. She doesn't know it yet but she is. Think it'll make all the difference to him.

Yeah Nikwax is for walking boots or leather, Fabsil Gold is the stuff to use. Do not be tempted to spray new walking boots with Fabsil and then proceed to clean your roof with soapflakes. You will find that if you have got any Fabsil on the soles of your boots things get vey slippy and you have to hold onto the roof of the car to stop yourself falling to the ground. Soapflakes and a nailbrush worked wonders although. |

you need some of this http://www.justsportandleisure.com/Deta ... ?PID=19100 and then re proof it with fabsil gold as previously stated.
