It was the same price to buy as a normal one, I don't need it, and it's going to cost me a fortune to make it fit, but it's still a good idea.

I don't know why you guys are all so cynical. We all know that when you have wet weather wipers, dry weather wipers and snow wipers you need a bigger battery to drive them.
I reckon if you were to get a set of fog wipers you may need a second battery in the boot.

Now I understand, a havier battery puts more pressure at the front of the car which is good for driving in the snow. I want one .......

In all seriousness, James, a bigger battery won't help solve anything. As TooMany2CVs said on the first page, a standard battery in good nick will supply more than enough power to turn the engine over, which is all the battery ever really needs to do. Once the engine's running, the charging system takes over, so your iphone charging problems aren't going to be solved by simply sticking a bigger battery on.
