Tomorrow, I'm going to buy... ooh I don't know, a bonnet for a Toyota Land Cruiser. Then I'm going to try and fit it to my 2CV.
Now you are going to tell me its the same price as a 2cv bonnet, don't you'.........

Well this, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-LANDCRUISE ... 279ec74e46

is less than half price on the usual places.

That's why it was so good. It was the same price to buy as a normal one, I don't need it, and it's going to cost me a fortune to make it fit, but it's still a good idea.

I don't know why you guys are all so cynical. We all know that when you have wet weather wipers, dry weather wipers and snow wipers you need a bigger battery to drive them.

I reckon if you were to get a set of fog wipers you may need a second battery in the boot.

Now I understand, a havier battery puts more pressure at the front of the car which is good for driving in the snow. I want one .......

ive searched and not had much success (dont really know what to search for, wording etc)

so, making it simple,
Shall I just admit I've f**ked up and dump this massive battery in favour of one that actually fits?

That's what you meant to say. :D

In all seriousness, James, a bigger battery won't help solve anything. As TooMany2CVs said on the first page, a standard battery in good nick will supply more than enough power to turn the engine over, which is all the battery ever really needs to do. Once the engine's running, the charging system takes over, so your iphone charging problems aren't going to be solved by simply sticking a bigger battery on.
