Jesus H. Christ.

Tomorrow, I'm going to buy... ooh I don't know, a bonnet for a Toyota Land Cruiser. Then I'm going to try and fit it to my 2CV.

I should probably take a photo of the battery, it's not that much bigger, I'll take it out Tonorow and line it up with the old one. It's not a foot long tractor battery!

I think if you need a bit of string to hold it in, (are you for real?) then it's too big. It's not a milk float, you have an engine to move the thing along.

James its not that we all think its massive and way too big, its more that its a bit bigger, won't fit the tray, can't be secured, requires new leads, new parts to secure... and it "cost the same" as a proper one!

What are the benefits?

The string is only because th threads not long enough, by about a cm, if that, which is typical

Louise i get the point but it's got more juice including more cca, and since fitting I've noticed a difference.
And I don't mine spending, 3 quid on a rod, and I'm going to see I'd I can get the cables to reach, if not I think I have some longer ones kicking about now I think about it.
