Suggested I had brought it cheaply on ebay (I hadnt) and was quite rude when I maintained my calm. I took his name and actually its him I have more of an issue with than the tool. The point I was making was that Bosch not only replaced somethng that was technically not under their guarantee because I hadnt registered it, but they then registered several other of their products, collected the tool, repaired it and returned it when it was me who broke it by dropping it off a 1st floor roof....which I had told them about. Where as Halfords just refused point blank and were actually rude about it. Hmmm, yes, I can see that would be annoying. Shop staff being rude always is, especially when they're in the wrong.
