ill keep an eye out for one,
i didnt mean that it sets it to advNCED i didnt understand how it worked etc etc..

will mostly be reading up on how strobe works and how to use one, and then ill find a cheapo one :D

( p.s. What's this about a coil on the bulkhead? If you've got plug leads which are about twice the length of the original ones, that's not going to work at all well. )

Umm, why not?

Look at the plug leads on a flat-four. Two are a few inches long, the other two go to the moon and back. Twice.

Might depend on whether you're using high resistance leads I suppose. Also worth bearing in mind that the current has to flow through both leads to complete the circuit, so in effect you've already got a metre of HT lead even with the standard set-up. Closer to two metres might be pushing it a bit..!

scratches head, and bum at same time in double confusion....

i was looking at the strobe light already one step ahead ;) in my watch list until money is in my favour

Its got a new 3cv coil I bought form Daras awhile ago, the dyane is going (hopefully) for a good tune at my brothers friends garage as he's tuned classic cars and has rolling road an that shizzz
