For those with gutter mounts - I'm having some brackets made to provide additional bracing. Anyone interested?

Yes please deffo fo'sho
Mavis's aerial is going back to a gutter mount for Czech so I'll be needing a bracing bracket.

Let me know when, how much etc.

Cheers!

Gutter mounting is not at problem, same for roof rack and bumpers, no worries.

No worries Will - sorted.

My Dad's making some copies of the bracket that was on Nikkis car. I'll be trying a sample this week, and will bring some along to registers. No idea on cost - but enough to cover material and time.

If there is interest, I'll try and get some more made up.

i would have been! maybe still... I didn't go for a gutter mount as I was concerned about the gutter's strength.

Does everybody have a callsign or do we just call the names of the people we know?

you can call me what you want, within reason!

So Register's weekend will be the first time I have one on me, thought it would be a good time to test it before CZ.

For the weekend then shall we all use 22 on the uk band?

CB gutter mount bracket...

No flex - rock solid.

Hand made by a bloke in a garage from galvanised sheet.

Does £10 to cover cost of materials and time to make each one sound fair? They are lovingly hand crafted, not mass produced!

Money goes to fund the old mans social life, which currently consists of the Pub & the JZR (google it).

If you want one - let me know. Can deliver to Registers day - ready for CZ.

If you don't, no worries.

BTW, my dad has the facility to do small scale production of turned, milled, drilled parts. If you need anything making - let me know.

:ugeek: don't put the mount low down the higher the better it need to "see" all around otherwise you will get masking from the vehicle
