Thanks LPGO, makes sense, not sure why the previous owner swapped over the manifolds, will get some new gaskets and wang it back together and then service the engine like it needs/ deserves!!!! Everyone else, thanks for reading my post and respondingh, its great to know there is help out there!!!!! Here is a photo of the aforementioned project.....

Re: Petrol leak....from the manifold,help please!!! Looks very my my own grey Charlie. Ain't going to stay grey for long, tho'... I've come to the unavoidable conclusion that the early 'pastel' colours are the ones that look most 'right'!
