Mind you, a synchromesh mechanism without a synchronizing clip fitted is about as much use as a pedal cycle without any pedals, isn't it? :roll:

Isn't that constant mesh rather than synchromesh

In my book the A model gear box has synchromesh on the 1st gear but no braking clip. :mrgreen:
