Hi Pete.

Looking a lot tidier now. Must be quite satisfying when you get to that stage.

I don't think there's anything like that on my car; most of what I'm finding is stuff that could been sorted if someone had bothered. Wire insulation chafed through and a bit of insulating tape over the damaged area, that sort of thing. Mind, I suppose that might not have been done by 2CV City; but they should have seen things like that and tidied them up, imho.

The 'repair' that you found must have been about as much trouble to do as sorting it properly would have been. Makes you wonder why someone would go to the trouble of bodging it like that. :roll: Having said that, a good bodge is very satisfying. To me, anyway.

Expecting to get it back on the road soon?
