 Re: AERIAL
Trouble is, once you've turned the radio up loud enough to be heard above the 5000rpm of engine noise and 70mph* of wind noise, then the accumulated cacophony is enough to leave your ears ringing for some hours after.
*Don't tell me that combination isn't possible, they're approximate.

 Re: AERIAL
i do believe its all personal preference.. i dont have to listen... how is a deaf person ever going to enjoy the sound of their engine and gearbox and how would they tell from the noises it's making? they wouldnt know! you should be able to tell what you car is doing by the feel of it aswell as the noises, also from the heat... if for some reason it starts to get alot hotter than usual then you know somethings up.. even if you couldn't hear its death rattle cries atleast you know to lift you foot off the loud pedal when things smell like melting engine parts! you should also be keeping an eye on vibration and how responsive your engine is

 Re: AERIAL
Joe excuse me asking but are you deaf? Anyway i take your points about noise and heat to indicate bodily functions of the 2cv. As for me i have piles of problems to contend with. I can easily recognise any problems with my car when i start to have problems with my piles.Especially the suspension.....if there is anything untowards with the suspension my piles tell me immediately, who'a slow down man!......what the bloody hell am i talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...........by the way if you do have hearing problems remember so too did the magnificent Beethoven
