What paint did you use for your wheels and bumpers? Do you have a paint code for this? I have a Blue Celeste too, and am desperately looking for this info!

did a search before positng, is the paint code for alpine white AC088?
and will white changed much in 22 years? or is it worth getting it matched? as it means getting the white spirit out to clean the door ive got to get rid of old paint ive "tested" on there..

AC088 is indeed Alpine white, and it will be the same colour as it was when it was put on 22 years ago, only faded.

i meant faded does white fade a lot or would it not be noticable on a vent flap? as in a slight difference? dont think it would cos of the rubber, hmmm. my car hasnt spent much time at all in the sun in its life..

may just play it safe! ill get the white sprit out!

Will, have you done your painting yet? How'd it go?

How close was the new paint to the existing?! I had an aerosol of Blue Celeste made up using just the code. It was NOTHING like it - more than just a shade difference; it was a noticeably different blue - the aerosol was a plain 'sky blue', but the original has an almost lilac tinge.

I'm sure you were right to do the whole car...
