flasher unit clicking.
I had an original Citroen flasher unit fitted and had a green dash light wired in for the indicators, from a Dyane. It worked well, but the flasher unit had always run slow, so I bought a replacement.
Since then I've had the new unit click gently to it self(but not operate the lights), with the tell-tale dash light connected. With it disconnected, all is quiet.
Any ideas? Is it an earthing issue or a dodgy flasher unit? I don't have a spare one knocking about to test that theory.

Re: flasher unit clicking.
Thanks chaps. So if I fit an original Citroen "Warning-Made in France" flasher unit, I should have no more problems?

Re: flasher unit clicking.
what sort of flasher unit have you bought? Sounds like it might not be connectetd up correctly. If it's a generic one from Halfords etc then it may well have a wiring diagram on the packet.
