Hello!! Just to let you all know, I have organised a camp! Here are the details! When: 9th/10th October Where: The Haberdashers Arms Pulestone Road Knighton Staffordshire ST20 0QH £10 for two nights per tentage. Dogs welcome at the site, so are motorhomes, but there are no hook ups. There is a toilet block, but no showers. It's in a field behind a proper pub in rural Staffordshire! There is beer, and lemonade out of a plastic bottle. Oh yes. Saturday day, If anyone is interested I'll do a scenic drive to either Stafford or Stone, so you can have a wander if you fancy. On Saturday night we're having snack night in the pub, so bring something along for everyone to try, interesting cheese (the land ladys' fave), biscuits, crisps, cheeky tipples. You know, use your imaginiation. Think like a foody guardian reader. Staffordshire oatcakes on Sunday morning anyone? Ace, mazin, hope you can make it! xxxxxx |

***Be aware the postcode is not very accurate for the pub its actual about 1/2 a mile down the road in the direction of Adbaston. If using Sat Nav it may direct down a green lane on the way there if coming from High Offley!!!! |

Whoopee! Count me and the Goat in! We might bring the remains of last years pickled garlic back to it's birthplace, as I'm fed up with it being in my kitchen, and ponging when the jar 'vents'  It's like 'League of Gentlemen' country round them parts, and that pub is well odd, but I am looking forward to: Cheese Oatcakes Yum Bx |
