Re: 2CVGB International I'm really glad I went. If I hadn't, I'd still have an extra 70 quid odd in my bank and wouldn't be falling asleep. I would also not have aching feet from the walk to the "bar" and "entertainment" and then standing outside because it was where most stuff was going on! I'm quite sure I probably couldn't do any better (that said, those of you that went to Stamford Hall in 2001, what did you think?) but there just seemed to be something missing.......................... It was good to catch up with people though, that I can't deny. Where's the fun gone at 2CVGB Nationals?

Re: 2CVGB International Been far too knackered to go, worked a 12hr shift yesterday and another one tomorrow. Just took the 2cv for a gentle pootle round the local lanes this afternoon.

Re: 2CVGB International I've got to give credit to anyone who has the balls to organise any big meeting. It's hard work and mostly thankless.
I was feeling properly out of sorts most of the weekend so didn't enjoy myself as much as I could have done.
Bars in buildings don't have the same atmosphere as a marquee, but they are a hell of lot cheaper. That said, I only made it the once on Thursday for a one pint.
Anyway, I hope all those who went enjoyed it as best they could as it will no doubt be the last for a while.
2011 - No ones offered yet. But we've got France (after the Giel Fail - I can't wait)
2012 - ICCCR Pickering, so no Inter-National.
2013 - ????
