Unfortunately i did....at waggel too. Fireworks in the middle in the night in a bone dry forrest campsite? Driving arround drunk among kids playing? Sorry, but then you do have a beef with me indeed. I will stand up for that in case needed. And i did tell the people who organized the meeting, this will never happen again, or me and my family will give up membership, even though we are one of the longest members arround in the club. There was taken action, it did happen again, but the people were banished later on. That is action i can approve off from a meeting organizer...

Don't think you'll get any disagreement from anybody on that.

I survived the last night of the World meet with about an hour or so of sleep. I was fine, wasn't I Neil?

Post Re: Waggel 2010
my impression of waggel, have been to a few, last years with kids: indeed a family meeting. most people like their rest at night, a small group likes to party all night, but they stay together on a remote part. this year's meeting has a new location, so i don't know the layout of the terrain...

a nice extra this year is the steam festival, i think that most 2cv and hy driver's have an interest in technique. for more info about the steam festival (in dutch): http://www.almerestoomfestival.nl .

hope to see you there.

if by 'fine' you mean you weren't quite in an alcohol/sun/lack of sleep induced coma, then yes, you were fine.

Its a pity the dates clash. Because i think there would have been a big UK turnout to this. :(

It's France for me this year. Booked and paid for last August. Shame about the date clash, Waggle is awsome fun!
