Fear not. You can easily pick up some more pegs, and it's not going to rain! What's up with the wipers, though?

I'm not sure... I put some gloves on and they wouldn't work, I took the gloves off and they started working again. a few miles into the drive they wouldn't respond unless I jammed my finger in under the dash so I fiddled about while negotiating Leeds Ring Road and pulled a cable off of the wipers and they seem to be working again but faster and without noise! hmm magic.

Yeah pegs'll probably get from tesco.

I can't find my paper counterpart driving licence (been tidied I expect) and the DVLA haven't returned my V5 yet so I'm in a mild panic... sure i'll not need either but there's always something to worry about.

I've swapped numbers with George so at least the two Dyanes can find each other.

Oh and I have a ruddy great hole in my exhaust so listen out for the backfiring :D

Giel-Courteilles looks like a pretty small place, so I'm hoping it'll be easy to find (even in the middle of the night, which is when I'm due to arrive). It should be OK - if arriving by day just follow all the other 2cvs, and if arriving by night follow the sound of the music from the marquee, the horns and the revving engines.

Right then, I'm off to Portsmouth, and onward to FRANCE!

Safe trip to everybody who's going, I'll see you there. If you're not going, see you on the other side!
