First time I remember that one was the Cloggy WM in '97 - ah, memories of changing the oil cooler on Hetty on a tarpaulin in a tent on the hottest day of the event, slithering around in a mix of oil & sweat... I think just about every WM since has had that restriction in place. On farmland, it's hardly a surprise that they want to minimise the risk of oil contamination of the soil.

 Re: French National 2010
Maybe he is just implying that there are more women and less men than France, thus more single women

 Re: French National 2010
Quote: This made me laugh, February's 2cvgb news has a provisional program for the french national. For Sunday 16th it reads; 14:00 Closing of event, 16:00 Transfer of site to farmers for tilling and ploughing. I think that's their way of subtlely saying that they'd like people to leave on the sunday, although how strictly it'll be enforced I don't know. More worryingly there's a list of regulations, and article 9 appears to say that participants must dress properly. I haven't booked the ferry yet. To the people who have booked, and are coming back on the Monday, are you going to pretend to not have read that part of the rules? If so, I will join you in that ignorance
