Thats one of the best things. Being in a field doing nothing with your mates! You can't beat it!

Paul was this your first Waggel?

It wasn't Waggel as we know it from earlier. I think this one was verry bad with the ones we had in Hilvarenbeek. But the last 2 years they have changed the location and every year the location is more bad then the year before.

I wonder where the plan it next year.

Can you post a copy of your article here??? For the dutchies.

The bloke with the green aca sold the car this week by the way. He wants a 2cv. ;)

Yes Punky it was my first Waggel. Make no mistake though, the people were fabulous, it's just that it all felt like a bit of an add-on. I expected too much - a camp fire, and actual Citroen get-together, some drive outs, something more than a 200 metre long narrow Citroen car park. It hasn't put me off and I hope to go to the Registers and the UK National events. I will keep an eye on future Waggels and just see what they plan in the future.

Your friend's van was really quite brilliant in it's hand rollered Apple Green paint and when I come to paint the wings of my white 2CV, I'll certainly consider that method of painting.

I have written the article and sent it off to the Editor so, if I may, I won't post it here until after it appears in print. I know, I'll PM it to you.

It was definitely different to previous Waggels that would attract 500 or so cars. I'll be intrigued to see what the CCNL mag has to say about it.

In the end tho I met my pals overseas and that's what it's all about but I wouldn't have minded it being like the old meetings!!
