Re: Charity Safari 1995 Top pics, I was only at the camp after the run, my mum went in a charleston with a friend, Tony White, I seem to recall it was fitted with a large elephants trunk and ears, Tony went (iirc) as some sort of jungle native and me old dear went as an explorer with a pith helmet and khaki shorts on. They won the fancydress and got to shake hands with the limp wristed Lionel. I couldn't be there for the run as we were racing a mini that weekend, which I totalled and stuck a lad in hospital.
These are the things I can remember about the Fyffes charity safari.
Oh yeah, what happened to the banana car? I think it was on non-uk plates?
