Hi everyone,

This wonderful AZA 1964 needs a bit of work before going back on the road. I'll probably start next week and tell you about how things are going from time to time. In fact, I will certainly mostly ask you for advice, for I am a complete beginner!
Anyway, this is how it looks today :

Hi Steph, She does look content in her new home. 8-)

Gosh have you cleaned the windows !! the restoration begins

I was wondering, is the front bumper original or has it been replaced with a more modern one at some stage, maybe when the indicators were done? Has your research showed up pictures what it would have looked like new in 1964?

Only 11 months until Salbris! I wish I lived round the corner from you so I could pop over and help you in the evenings over a whiskey :(

Hi everyone,

The car is now empty, and the floor doesn't look too bad except at the feet of the passenger. I think I should have a closer look at the chassis, but I'm afraid of what I could see. So I think I'll just consider the chassis is ok... so far.

12 years ago, it went to a barn because of the dynamo. I've started taking it out, but I don't have the right tool to extract it, so I have to wait till I find it.

To finish, a picture taken from the boot. I just find it cool.

Today is a great day : it has started again. It was not that easy, I had to change many parts that I can't name in English (In fact I can hardly name them in French !), but there it goes : it works.
If you want the whole details, it's on the French site, there : http://forum2pattes.forumactif.com/vos-restaurations-f10/restauration-aza-64-t56869-45.htm
and because a film is better than a long speech, you can have an idea of what it looks like there.

This was filmed by my five-year old daughter, so it's a bit clumsy but it's great that she was there to capture that awesome moment.
Next step : the brakes.
