 Re: Sudo Kubel
Boot floor done all apart from the drop tank which will fit in the hole left in the floor. This will be big enough to fit my trolley jack and all the other shite i carry in my normal car boot. Got the front belly pan back from James 'the engineer'. He's made a lovely job of cutting out the air intake vents for me, Cheers James . Got to wind the front suspension up as yet. Ive done the rear a little and would like the front to match . More soon.

You won't find the swastika on the box art of Airfix kits because it is illegal to to display it in public in Germany (so it was done so as not to deprive the Germans of models), you will however find the correct markings on the decal sheet inside!

 Re: Sudo Kubel
Apologies for thread drift and off-topic stuff, but it's a little known fact that the RAF (briefly) flew Westland Wapiti aircraft with swastikas on them - in Iraq (!) I believe. There are very few photos of the aircraft, but the official history of 84 Squadron (which flew these aircraft) used another image (with a swastika on the fuselage) for a cover picture.

 Re: Sudo Kubel
Thanks Sean. Yeah its a bit more secure than it looks, involving a lot of extra welding and plating etc, but to be honest, if i had a choice i wouldnt have fitted any seatbelts as it spoils the effect im trying to create. Unfortunately though the MOT testers dont quite see it the same way. When im at car/military shows i will be hiding the belts with a camo net or jacket and german helmet etc. Lets face it we all drove cars for many years without belts before thay made them compulsory. Personal choice i guess. One thing for sure is that the structure is a lot stronger than it was when it rolled of the Citroen production line
