last update for today, wanted to take wheels off and paint them tonight but road is to be dug up tomorrow so will have to wait!!!!
bumpers had quick coat of satin black, lights have had a coat of a darker shade of matt brown(looks the same) still unsure on rear window.

Do it like an early car - it'll suit the shape of the vehicle rather than look like an after thought.

not much done today, little bit of painting, wheels sprayed, ready for whitewalls.

been busy on the shitroen this afternoon, everything went nearly to plan, one or two problems to sort. also took off the protective plastic on aluminium roof.

Funnily enough there used to be another 2CV with an oval rear window around Norwich. That one was a D*lly and the window appeared to be part of the roof, rather than surrounded by metal. Haven't seen it for a couple of years, mind.

apparently theres a lowered(on the floor) example just up the road from me, but never seen it!!!

done this last week, seems to be staying on ok. just got to do the rest!!!!
