Much less caster! hopefully my welding will hold up, I'm tempted to stregthen the area around the welds on the arms.

wow Russ, good work. wish i could get that kind of stuff done so fast. the van engine is still in the boot of the xantia... that needs work but up until yesterday did run!

I'm only getting stuff done because I've wrecked all the cars and need to fix something before I can go out!

Well, in fairness I'm suprised at how much I've got done so far, I'm about to take the engine over the garage and power wash it with a tin of Gunk, then refit the r/w/b cowlings etc and that's where it'll have to stop until Mr ECAS sends me a new clutch and I dig out a gearbox that hasn't got U/S marked on the top...

(I wish I'd looked a bit closer when i picked it up now..)

And such nice straight track rod arms too.. try not to cut corners,l know it seems like a good idea at the time but.... and look after it this time mate.

Sorry jules, yeah, pretty much all of it back together before 4pm Sunday!

Long way to go yet though, I've got loads more bits to sneak into the shotblast/powder at work, and I really feel i should make more of an effort cleaning the engine. Plus, I forgot to order a new clutch and gasket set today, which has put me a bit behind....
