Re: DO-LAH refurb Yesterday i had a bad hangover! so didn't start til 2pm, and got jack to come and help, we got the engine and box out swapped calipers etc. to new/second hand/spare box inc. the rear cover plate which was damaged (yes Ken, 3 out of 4 lock nuts at the bearings lose ) got the new gearbox and engine in and bolted at the mounts and fit the driveshafts and left it at that to be finished on monday after work. This is how she looks atm

Re: DO-LAH refurb Finished her off on monday night and took jack with me on the test drive  and been driving on and off this week (not as much as i would have liked to) and she's feeling very good not crunching in any gears nice drive and very quiet, even in third so must be a good gearbox  oh yeah and i put in the contraversial GL5 oil Got a nice drive to sufolk on saturday so that will be a goood test, didn't make it there last time the fan broke  I have a gearbox to referbish now  and still have lots of various things i want to do, bring on the summer!
