 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
Great job there, i was a bit skeptical when you said you wanted to do this, but it has worked out really well. I quite like where the badge is, but personally not a fan of AA badges altogether. I think some chevrons would look good there though! What do you want to put on your bot lid?

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
Chevrons! I'd considered putting them on the flanks but decided on the badge instead. I'm almost ready to buy and fit the roof but I'm stuck for what colour to go for. The seats will be red so I was thinking of a darkish red roof to match? Or a jade green one... or a light grey one....

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
if it was an all grey car then i would do red interior and roof. but as its green maybe a grey roof? that would be more subtle. who knows! im sure you'll make a decision which suits it best as you have been spot on so far!

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
I'd go for a grey roof too .... I'll decline to comment about the AA badge T.

OMG! I'm just SO looking forward to seeing this car, it's an absolute credit to you, Old-Nail, I doff my hat to you. I'll just add that I quite like the AA badge and the position of it, it's different.

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
Beautiful paint job.....just beautiful, and a great choice of colours for the two tone. With regards to the hood, the burgundy is stunning but has been done, the green is a surprising hit with me.....keep up the great work. P.S- Now I see why my lame attempts with a HVLP gun must have seemed such a poor idea ...hard to believe this is your first time spraying...what a result.

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
I wish I could do that photoshop stuff. Looking at them I think I'm leaning toward red, Rouge Cinnabre I think the shade is. I'm quite pleased that the AA badge has so polarised opinion too, there's nowt so beige as doing what everyone else does! Old-nail: Daring to be different since 1960.
