His postage on a boot extension isn't too bad, I'm sure that bit of floor is worth asking about.

Who's is going to be done first, yours or Geerts?

Suspect Keza's my man for this, but postage costs might be prohibitive.

Ask Janez ( Keza) for a quote , postage from Slovenia is not that expensive and he makes top Quality pieces.

My money's on Geert! I'm so slow I suspect I may have to leave the van for my kids to finish off, and that's assuming I live to my alloted three-score years and ten, which is still some considerable time in the future.

BTW, Geert: maximum respect for what you've done with that bit of vacuum pipe!

My missus was moaning at me just the other day for hiding the bit of old pipe from our vacuum, and we came to a bargain: if I don't find a use for it in the next month, she can throw it away. Now I've saved a useful piece of crap from the landfill, and I no longer have to swear at the driveshafts flopping about when I push my van in and out of the garage! Win-win!

Yes, definitely myosotis on the outside, but with lagune on exterior bulkhead, rear doors (beneath hand-painted green household gloss), interior etc. Not forgetting the custard-coloured bonnet and one wing painted dark red and festooned with flowers.

Given the eclectic colour scheme, plus the fact that it has lived in west-Shropshire and mid-Wales, I reckon this vehicle has been the property of good old-fashioned hippies.

some oftopic...

Cost for postage is problem... But, I do charge only what post office charge to me. If I order parts from various EU countrys I have to pay double price plus (depend of dealer) packaging and other stuff. Sometimes parcel for about 5 kg of 2cv parts cost me even up to 70 eur or more. Buying from France or Germany is total disaster for me in Slovenia . And belive or not... I am in EU.

This is my post office prices in Slovenia for sending parcel to other EU countrys:

up to 2 kg 13,67
over 2 kg - 5 kg 20,48
- 5 kg - 10 kg 25,00
- 10 kg - 15 kg 35,51
- 15 kg - 20 kg 40,98
- 20 kg - 25 kg 49,17
- 25 kg - 30 kg 60,09

SOmetimes I have to pay extra for fast delivery and extra for careful handling.

Sheet metal parts are not light and small :)

Wow! Just Wow! That really is an inspiration. Thanks for posting Smiffy. What a superb job. Gives me a good idea of what I'm facing with my '66 Belgian AZL.
It's possibly worse than that was!

Brooky.
