We have some really very effective long beam and spot beam lights on garage. Haven't test them on any car yet, because they are 24v sealed beams. Near 300W and 500W lights, from MIG and Hawk. The owner of our house is working at military maintenance, so almos anything related those and also Hornet can be find. Also the building next door, is the place where is made a lot of carbon panels to fighters and Airbus flaps etc, so we have a lot of very strong plates to use under jack, 6mm and 8mm thick plates cut from Airbus flaps...

Need to test those lights some night. Have couple of 24V 100A alternators too, but maybe testing with two batterys...

Maybe not street legal lights, but on old cars almost any light is possible to use here...

Wow!! I'd be fascinated by that.

When i started the car in the morning i had to turn the key a few times. After some light clicks the starter motor came into action. After that it functioned all day at the first turn of the key. I suspected the startermotor but as it functioned during the day i thought the contact switch was the problem. So i took it apart and yes 2 contacts were slighly oxydized. So clean avec the glassfiber brush and some contact spray. And all works like it supposed to again..

I did think the blue used more petrol than it used to, but it seems to be caused by that badly fixed fuel hose.... It's now much more economical... ;-)

On the oldtimermeeting in Stolberg germany i found this supports that might be from an belgian 2cv that had traction rearlights on the wings. I am not 100% sure yet as there were several different models.

I tried an traction lamp on it. It fits perfect. It's just a support it isn't a part of the lamp. It makes it possible to mount a flat lamp on a curved base.

Did find this old picture of my 2cv on the Grimsel Pass. It was taken during the 2cv worldmeeting in Switzerland. A nice climb for the loaded 12 HP.
