Post Alloys for 2CVs
Could people tell me what various alloy and special wheels exist for 2CVs without fitting adapters?
And does anyone know where you can buy those front splitters that replace the bumper?
Cheers!

as for alloys you are pretty limited without adaptors - thierry on here has some that have been reproduced recently:

other than that there are minilite style rims, but TBH they don't look right - in my eyes at least.

Funnily enough Max, there's a mention of Thierry Plouvier in this month's Planète 2CV about his rims. He's only got one set left to sell, and I don't have 1100€ on me.
If you're interested it says in a small paragraph, with a pic of a pale-minty-coloured (you'll know the colour name, I'm sure) 62-reg 2CV modelling the said wheeels, that Thierry is a big fan of 80s custom, has nostalgia for Deltalines, copies of Centerlines by Delta Mix, and so started a small production of them, but polished and anodised, 4,5"x15".
Very nice they are too. 8-)

Also found these dodgy 3 spokes...

don't think the burton ones are alloy, aren't they just chromed steel?

No you're right.
I don't mean just alloys, anything different to the normal ones, and the beloved slots. ;)

I used to really like the old delta mics. Nearly bought a set once.

you're right.
Burton wheels also like to rust. Especially the early ones...

Thierrys wheels are the only wheels I'd have on a 2cv that are non standard.

I prefer the look of banded or re-rimmed wheels myself. I can't ever seem to get on with non-standard looking wheels...
