Post Money no object.....
.... what 2cv or A-series would you buy?

Only one car, can be anything at all.

Pictures and explanations please!

Mine would be:

Because I reckon it's from that time in the 60s when 2cvs just look 'right', and it's at that lovely point between "not so tidy you have to worry about scratching it" and "not so ropey it's an embarassment"

Your turn!

Probably a 1980's 2cv as that is what i like the look of and in my opinion the best looking if done correctly. I dunno weather it would be a mint one or a bit scruffy like the pic i attached.

Call me unimaginative, but I can never quite get over the Beachcomber. Now if only one of these would come up for £500. Sigh...

Old enough to be built well, new enough to look both out of place and "right".

Hey, y'never know... I'm sure Will might be open to offers for Mavis - although I suspect you might need to add a bit to that £500...

Just one A-series? Wow. Difficult one. I'm with Russ on the look of those very early '60s cars - but the 350's cured me of lusting after oldies, mechanically speaking. And I'm really not big on "old-looking, modern-driving" cars.

Ummm.
We've had drum & disk 2cvs. We've had a Dyane. We've had Ami 8 & Super. We've had an M4 chassis-pedal AK350. We've had an aks400 & Acad. We've had Meharis. We've even had a 4x4 2cv.

So what's that leave? Ripple? A 250? Sahara? Bijou? Ami 6?

Same era as you, Russ. But I would go for an AZAM. I think they're the most stylish of all 2cvs: -

If it's going to be that era, it's got to be four-light - the six-light-plus-ears rear quarter is just far too "busy".

I'd have to have a sahara.

And I agree the 60s are the most stylish.
