Right i logged on this morning the 18th of august and roughly 10 maybe more Porn links with photos and video links were up. :o I reported them all for obvious reasons and hopefully Admin will destroy them from polluting this site. I thought i would do it fast. Were do they come from?

May I suggest to the Adm that new members are screened before accepted. Once this forum has been found, the problem will continue forever.
Deleting and banning the users IP address is simply not enough.

It seems were having a lot of problems at the minute with people spamming the site.

We are very sorry for this. It only seems to be since the changeover. Also if you are trying to register and we are deleting you, then please PM us. We do have to approve users, and others manage to get through this.

Again we are sorry. and we hope noone is offended by this problem.

We're having a real hard time keeping on top of the spammers. I banned by IP at least 30 users since the weekend, Max & Russell have a similar amount under their belts. We are looking into this problem & hopefully we can stamp out the spammers once & for all. Please bear with us.

Good on you folks but they keep coming back by changing their IP addresses.
You need to make registration a pain in the ass to keep them away. Unfortunately it makes legitimate registration hard too but I'm sure people understand

Simplest way is to make all new applications confirmable by administrator before activation of membership. Should just be one tick box on the admin control panel.

Right, i've 'tweaked' the settings. Fingers crossed it's fixed. sorry to those who didn't get a chance for cheap viagra or free hardcore rudies. :lol:
