I love 2 2cv's , will admit it started off as a hate relationship , Figure a price hike for 2CV’s, the James Bond effect again ? , not helped by I run a Celeste blue 75 , also we have the same surname , I now pretend to be Joans forgot younger brother  , but bless my 2cv, it has starred in T.V. adverts , now I hibernate it over winter ,and getting too nervous to use it , the car that is  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_em1kls95A |

Funnily enough, me too. I had a 1961 Minor Tourer and worked with a big lad, well over 6ft and a rugby player, who had a 2CV. He kept asking me to try it out, but I would refuse, saying there was no way in Hell I was going to get in an upside down pram! I eventually agreed just to shut him up. The rest, as they say, is history. The 1961 Minor is long gone. (Though I do now have an original pre-war Minor). |
