You're better off looking on leboncoin or ebay and picking stuff up as you go. You have to be a bit lucky to find a breakers with decent stuff in it. Always worth poking about behind backstreet garages. |

Even the old garages are cottoning on to the price of these car. I found two in a guys front yard and stopped to do a deal on one car plus the parts car but he was asking ridiculous amounts. Even the AZL rusted out shell with a tree growing through it was more than €500. There is the perfect scrappy on the way to Toulouse - I stood on the top of my van and looked over the wall to find dozens and dozens of 1950's classics. Tractions, Amis, 4Ls and everything I seen Gasoline magazine. It is huge. I am going to try my luck to see if I can have a look around but the scrappies here make you wait while they go and search for the part for you (last time I went he let me go round with him in his golf cart but I looking for 4L doors and not Traction bits) |

i think we are going down to somewhere around Nantes Ive been looking on Leboncoin but no seat belts yet.Ebay is fine for the 2cv bits and mechanical parts but trim is either not listed or the odd manky old part at a seriously steep price I also need a front door and possibly a rear one so I would make a detour to pick them up on the way home or back but cant drive too far out the way as the kids would get bored stuck in the back of the camper! |

I stood on the roof of my Trafic to get a glimpse over the wall of our big car scrapyard on the way to Toulouse. This place is vast with a lot of older cars under cover. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
