Yep, here goes !

I reckon Russ, Neil, Max and team have done an amazing job getting this going. Also great to still see all the regulars on here having been out of the scene for a bit. I reckon its quite a special thing to have this community. We all have our moans and groans and little fall outs, but hey folks, we are getting a bit thin on the ground and need to stick together.

I live on a main road and its been very noticable how few 2CVs pass by any more. My local club was thriving six years ago and now has gone. There are so few A series on the road..... and thats the point.....daily driving cars...(not tarted up show vehicles although a place for them too).

So I reckon we should stick together and places like this are just fantastic.

I dont know how to contribute or help out. I would do anything to help out a 2CVer if I could, but I guess one thing that might be good would be to give us all a laugh on this site....

...so....a completely non original idea !

A COMPETITION !....

...Yes folks I will post a picture (badly distorted, maybe close up, maybe tweeked) and you lot need to identify it! As I say been done before.....but you will get a prize ....yes points mean prizes.

So my next post will be the first pic and of course the details of the prize !

to get you started and make it easy, it came of a 1988 2CV.

The prize for this is amazing.

The first to guess the correct identity will win your very own DIY snowman kit! Yes...I will send you a complete kit for your own snowman. This includes two bits of coal (for the eyes) and a carrot (for the nose). :lol:

Electrical connection for the 'dippy-dim' system? I wouldn't have thought it was a wiper, '88 is too specific a year :geek: :lol:
