... I've accidentally bought myself a Daihatsu Fourtrak.
At least it means I can take my time repairing the 2CV, if there's any money left over after feeding the 2.8 litre engine with diesel.

... I've accidentally bought myself a Daihatsu Fourtrak. At least it means I can take my time repairing the 2CV, if there's any money left over after feeding the 2.8 litre engine with diesel.

So what happened to that very nice  Volvo Estate you had Cloudy, it was always a car I admired much like the Daihatsu

So what happened to that very nice Volvo Estate you had Cloudy, it was always a car I admired much like the Daihatsu I sold the Volvo - which was a great car, when it ran on all four cylinders - for £100 more than I paid for it. The idea of the Fourtrack is that it was cheap and I might possibly be ending up with a 2CV which is a long way away and will need trailering home. But it is in nice condition, unlike my current 2CV.
