Post subject:  colour of 2cv
not sure if i put it in the right section but i chose this over technical....

im going to be buying some aresol paint for my 2cv, to re spray the wings (as theyve got stone chips etc) on them and also may buy a new wing,
however i need some help working out what red my car is.... i know its a strange thing to ask over the internet but is there anyway i can confirm what shade it is

James, assumuing your 2cv is still wearing it's original colour paint, it'll be;

AC 448 / GKB / EKB rouge vallelunga

Because the Only red available from 1983/84, was Rouge Vallelunga.

There were two reds in '88, Rouge Vallelunga available from '82 to '90 and Rouge Delage from '80 to '90

Rouge Delage is the maroon used on Charlestons

The code for Rouge Vallelunga is AC 448
