Awful awful awful!

I hate 2cv kit cars! Drove a lomax once, the only advantage was that when I crashed it (and it's inevitable, very fast but no grip at all) I was already in something that looked like a coffin.

But that's just my opinion.

Agreed. Harry, i reckon you should make a big project on a 2cv. Not the usual...

What I'd like to see on the kit car market would be a glassfibre or aluminium 2cv shell so it wieghed nothing, and a tubular spaceframe/rollcage chassis that took 2cv running gear. Could be built as a high riding raider or a low and fast circuit or fast road machine.

and you lot don't even have to work on 'em...

Tbh, what winds me up most when working on certain kit cars is the random sizes of bolt heads and threads which seem to find their way into the mix.

With most 'A' series cars, you'd know which spanner to pick up for which job, but with certain kit cars, ( Bertie's Bedouin excluded ;) ) it's all a bit of a lottery.

ken.

I quite like the Burtons, they look fairly classy. The Falcons are ok, but tbh if I was gonna have something that looked like that, why not have an actual Lotus 7 or caterham :?
