Nice! It always helps to make these little purchases when spirits might be low!

Well I am in love with my 2CV so even if the old girl goes at some point I will always have "mini-2cv" to remember it by!

Stick with it! Take it slow, and shop around for bargains. You'll be amazed how much you can learn from tinkering with a 2cv, and how much fun it is, too. A couple of diy jobs and your confidence in your own abilities will grow quickly. (So far, I've been able to pick up 3 doors, 2 front wings and a new set of Lipmesa shockers for less than £100 combined, all on Ebay).
BTW, the headlamps on that Charleston toy need adjusting. You'll see nothing at night if you leave them like that.

sounds like a nice shopping spree! Indeed, stuff is out there for not many pennies, so far this week I've got a shell, chassis, axles, engine and box and a wing for £30. Admittedly, there's quite a few diy jobs to be done before it ever becomes anything close to a car!

Justin, have a look through the 'your a series' forum, some of the cars there have had monumental work done by their owners, everybody starts somewhere!
